I'm hoping someone out there has done some legwork with appropriate timings with the Kingston HyperX 512mb modules, and would be willing to share your knowledge. I'm curious what timings were successfully used with what voltages to produce specific ranges of MHz. I have the pc3200 AK2 series with CH-5, 2x 512mb. I know some people out there consider this to be guarded knowledge, but I honestly don't have much know-how when it comes to tinkering with timings. I also know I have inherent limitations with this RAM, and as such I'll have to do my own investigations into what my modules can really do. An early thank you to whoever offers up your services, and rep for an honest answer and listed timings...

On another note with HyperX modules, I'm considering buying a pair of pc4000 chips, and they say they are Hynix on the heat spreader, but I can't tell if they are D5 or D43... is there a way to tell without taking the heat spreader off? It makes a big difference for my AMD system...

As I said, they say Hynix on them, which eliminates the Winbond/AK2. So is there a way of determining which Hynix IC was used without taking the heatspreader off, if they are in my hands/rig?

Ahh never mind, I didn't win the auction, it went above my threshold for not knowing what the ICs were. I appreciate the attempted help though!
