Default Anyone here have experience with A-Data?

Specifically this set here and how well it over-clocks?

Don't have experience with it myself. Have heard they don't overclock too well, but since it's DDR2 800 and you have an AMD rig, you won't need to overclock the RAM to hit a high CPU clock speed with RAM at 1:1

I've got a set of adata 1x1gig sticks waiting to go into my DFI/AMD rig when I get home. I'll let you know about those when my trip to Boston is over. It's certainly not the same thing but might help.

Got some A-Data ram in my rig. PC3200. DDR 400.
Stock timings 3-4-4-8
got them set at 2.5-3-3-6 via the bios.
Good stuff,,no problems,,great snappy performance absolutely no
complaints. Would buy again.
Suprised so few here at OCN use it or know anything about A-Data.

Had One minor incident with them,,while experimenting with the timings.
Just to see how far,,
Set the CAS to 2.
No Go.
No POST,,nothing but some enigmatic beeps.
Had to remove/replace the Mobo Battery and reset the CMOS.
After that I reset the CAS to 2.5 and all has been well since then.

Got a couple of these (DDR2 667) in my Conroe rig. They rock when not overclocked. Once they are, they're solid for about 6 hours straight. Anytime past that, system starts to get cranky and fudges up the text on screen. Mouse right click on desktop stops working, just pops up a box nothing inside. At one point a config file for eMule also gets corrupted. This is just going from 1.86GHz to 2.08GHz. CPU temp always at 54 C.

The 800 version is probably more value for money.

My A data DDR800 Vitesta won't do more than 880MHz regardless of timings/voltage.
