i remember a while ago, like last year, someone said i didnt have very good ram. Well, i think its time for an upgrade.
I was looking at this - 8000

good enough? Suggestions?
Im also after max performance, i dont really care about OC'ing much atm.

theres really not a point in getting high speed ram if you're not gonna overclock, the performance boost from running your ram higher than the fsb is pretty minimal. thats a huge waste of money if you ask me.

Getting your hands on the right DD2 800 will do just as well if they have the D9 Micron chips and likely save you some money.
The liked site is down ATM but it's a good referance for what ICs are in the RAM modules.

The G.Skill HZ's have Micron D9 chips. Getting anything faster than DDR2 800 is pointless if you don't overclock (since DDR2 800 is the fastest supported speed on your motherboard).

Even if you plan to overclock in the future, the G.Skill overclocks really well

thanks for taking the time to actually look one up for me dude. Im not too familiar with gskill, and im a brand sort of guy. I go for all the big name brands, e.g, asus, ocz, antec and so on; but ill have a look into the gskills and see how it goes.
