Ive been using gskill 1gb (cheap) playing cs no blue screen...

added the corsair value ram and it is blue screen....(after 5-10 mins)

not compatible sticks? they are both ddr400

the corsair could be faulty, run memtest86 on it

Check your memory timing and voltages. Make sure they are set to the worst of the two memory.

G.Skill is outstanding RAM. I wouldn’t call it cheap, just competitively priced. But it sounds like your corsair is faulty.

bought corsair from "Jazino" here...for $20
anyways will try memtest...can I do it while both of them are on? or should I remove the gskill...

you can do it with both.

if one shows up a error, swap the sticks around in slot just to make sure its not the slot being faulty

tested the ram in another computer...by itself...ran memtest in UBCD ver.2.8x
for 1 hour...no error

ran memtest in windows and no error...

conclusion:
Corsair ddr400 valueram=good
doesnt go well with gskill (playing cs)

thoughts
might try putting it in the other memory bank (#3)
will update asap
