Default new to amd. How do i run at 1:1

Hi, ive set my memory in the bios to run at its rated 667mhz, but cpuz is stil saying its only runnig at 300mhz, even if cpuz is showing it as non ddr speeds then this is still only 600mhz. What is the fsb of my cpu?

Like when i used to use intel p4s my ram was 400mhz and having the fsb at 200mhz gave me a 1:1 ratio.

How does it all work with amd?

- EDIT -

Your multiplier is 12x so 200*12=2400

if your ram is running at 300mhz, you're running it at a HIGHER rate than the cpu FSB, which is good. if you "could" lower the multiplier on your cpu, you would be able to run the ram at 1:1 with a higher fsb, which is always best but hey... as far as I know, only the FXs have unlocked multis...

DDR2 667 run @ 166MHz which is a 5/6 divider or @ 83% of the CPU bus speed. The "83%" is an approx. variable which changes slightly dependant on the multiplyer the CPU is using. So, in general, the RAM will increase %83 percent of the CPU bus!

The HT or memory controler overall speed.
As you increase the CPU bus speed the RAM bus speed increases.
Example, if your CPU is running @ 250 and you use the default 5x of the HT you would have an overall 1250MHz HT.
Many AM2 MBs can run as high as the 1200ish range just fine and most like that range.
But. it it gets to high the HT multiplyer must be reduced to 4x or 3x as necessary.
