I'd get the Ballistix are that RAM price.

If you mix a 800 RAM with a 667 RAM, the 800 will run at 667.

Just curious, what if the memory was set @ 400 in bios, would having 667 and 800 mixed make a difference?

400MHz? Since it's DDR2 800Mhz, right?

If you mix 667 with 800 together, the 800 will run at 667.

By default the speed would set to the slower RAM.
The DDR2 667 may be able to match the 800 with manual settings.
Some 667 was clicking along at near DDR2 1000 but that would be IC dependant.

I would never suggest mixing RAM of different speeds on the same motherboard. It will default to the slower RAM's speed. Heck, I wouldn't even recommend mixing RAM from different Manufacturers. Keep it all the same, your system is more likely to be stable - and OC'ing will be much easier.
