Heya all. Just want to ask a question. Is it possible for rams to be asking for more volt when the ram is underclock and with 5-5-5-15-26-2T timings?? I seem be to getting that problem which is hidering me for getting higher clocks. CPU is fine but ram is like volt hungry. Is it something that I did wrong in my timing??

Going Broke Overclocking

Oddly enough, even when I was divided to near default timings/speeds, the SB was voltage hungry at higher OCing speeds. Without the SB (or Chip Set, MB BIOS dependent) voltage increases I'd get RAM errors, go figure.

Heya duke, yes, same thing happening over here. For now, if I do not change the SB Volt, the error given would be round error of 0.5 instead of 0.4 which usually mean the voltage was not enuff. If I increase too much volt, I would get error in many numbers. Up my SB or NB volt, i again get numbers.

hmm this is interesting. so which setting is it in the bios to increase SB voltage? NB-SB? SB standby v?

Heya, thanks for the reply. I do not have a pure sb volt or nb volt increase. its like sb<>nb something like that.

your ram is set to /667 but is it still running at 800 due to OC?
