Default DIMM 1 and 4?
I'm wrapping up installation of my sig MB, and looks like i've got 1 and 4 available.

Using these with 2x 2g stick will run it dual channel right?

No, I'm sure it won't. Check your mobo manual, but I've never heard of that working.

I can get them in 1 and 2, but the heatsinks are touching, will that have any effect?

Usually Dual Channel are from 1-2 and 1-3

i checked for you and it turn out if you want dual channal 1 3 or 2 4 is a must
