Default Team Elite 2GB (2x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 800MHz or OCZ Revision 2 2 GB PC2-6400 DDR2 ?

so i am on ebay currently trying to find some ram for my new mobo, and i come across the OCZ(where i hear some very good customer reviews) and the Team Group(never heard of them but mixed reviews) what should i got for? The OCZ ram is used and at £25 and the Team Elite is new and at £25

I don't know much about the Team Elite, but I would recommend the OCZ Rev. 2.... I think they'd work well for you. I'm running a set of them and haven't had any problems.

Is this memory for your sig rig? You have DDR memory in your sig rig and that memory you're referring to is DDR2. They are usually incompatible, but I have seen a motherboard for P4 that can run both. Unless you're positive your board can run both (very rare) I'd stick with DDR memory or upgrade to a Core2 Duo/DDR2 platform (would require an upgrade of the board, CPU, and memory).

EDIT: I'm guessing you're in the UK since your prices were in pounds, but this is a good deal on the AMD X2 5000+ Black Edition and 2x1GB OCZ Platinum for $80 total: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...u=AMD-5000-2GB
