Alright guys, I have a 2GB Kit from OCZ, and they are spouse to be able to do dual channel.
However, i put one stick in the first slot, and put the 2nd stick in the 3rd slot. i check CPU-Z, and it says that i only have a single channel? I followed what the BIOS handbook said, do i need to do something in the BIOS?

Disable Unganged, or place your ram in slot 1 and 3

I'll looked for an unganged option in my BIOS, and try slot 2 if that dosnt work. Thanks. EDIT: from what i could see, there was no option to ungange it, I'll look a bit harder.

Have you checked the mobo manual for which slots are for dual channel? Some mobos have it so that the sticks are right next to each other in either slots 1&2 or 3&4 whereas other mobos have the sticks in slots 1&3 or 2&4 for dual channel. Try either configuration and one of them should do the trick.

It says "for dual channel configuration, put 2 identical RAM sticks in DIMM Slots A2 and B2." Later i read on the next page "For dual channel configuration, put 2 identical RAM sticks in DIMM Slots A1 and A2" ..... Anyways, i got it working finally, but now I dont remember why did dual channel.... What are the advantages..?

Dual channel basically means that you get twice the bandwidth for your RAM since each RAM stick operates at 64 bits. Dual channel memory architecture widens the channel by putting two of those 64 bit channels together. Think of it as a highway that just got the lanes doubled so that more cars can travel without bottlenecking.
