OCZ Gold DDR3 1600 Help!
I recently bought OCZ3G16002GK which is OCZ Gold Series 2GB (1XGB) DDR3 1600, but apparently it won't run at advertised speed. It is unstable anything above 1066MHz. Right now running 1066MHz with timings 7-7-7-20 @1.65v. It is stable for 1 hour 25 minutes so far. I have tried to run it at 1333MHz with timing 8-8-8-24 @ 1.8v before with stability issues. Please help! Thanks

i dont think the bios supports more than 1333 ddr3 atm i may be wrong check the support list. then again its an asus with asus memory issues. try memtest and see if it passes

It does support 1600MHz and it past memtest.

Well, if it passed memtest, all I could really suggest would be to try manually increasing the voltage a bit extra, above 1.8v. Although, have you OCed your processor at all? I've had experiences with inability to run memory at the advertised frequency after an overclock.

Try 7-7-7-24 @1333 and 1.75V. If that wont work, try it with the NB V bumped up 2 slots and if needed try setting the NB clock and HT-Link to 2200.

which stress test should I use? I have just run memtest86 with 7-7-7-24 @ 1333mhz and 1.75v and it passed.

You did memtest on 2048MB of ram and it passed with 0 errors for 100% coverage? And you did Prime95 on Blend and it failed? You dont have the cpu overclocked at all do you?
