Okay, so, my Dominator RAM modules are rated at 1066Mhz @ 2.1v... however, I cannot get them to run at such a speed, no matter how much voltage I put through, how loose the timings I make, or if I even just run on one pair.
So instead I've got it running at 880Mhz and tightened the timings; it's rated for 5-5-5-18, but I currently have it running at 4-4-4-12. These settings did pass a round of OCCT, though something strange did happen... while I was away, my screen-saver stopped responding, but my computer recovered when I came back and OCCT still ran as normal right until the end; no errors. I do have a concern about how many volts I'm putting through the sticks, though... It's rated for 2.1 at 1066, but right now to hold it stable I'm pumping 2.3 volts through them... So, tell me, am I asking for Memory-suicide here? They're not cheap modules, but I am a bit concerned.

Do you have the dominator fan module or any other sort of active air cooling pointed at them? If not then consider getting an antec spotcool, they work wonders.

max i'd overvolt my mems is +0.01. yes that overvolt is pretty high.
youre supposed to turn off screensaver when benching, and put vista's power profile to "high performance." try setting the mem speed to 533MHz and the timings to auto.

1.8v - 2.1v is pretty much the norm across the board, any higher than that and i reckon you'll see problems.

Thanks, but I already explained that, no matter what I did, 533Mhz would NOT work with my CPU OC, no matter how little I had in there or anything. Although I will say that it probably was a bit silly of me to leave the screensaver running. I'll turn it off from now on.

Try bumping the NB volts.
Maybe try a RMA of the sticks if they are not running at rated speeds.

Nah, it's not the memory. It runs fine at 1066 as long as I don't OC my processor too much. I think the best I can get it 1066 stable is around the 2.9-3Ghz mark.

Try changing the memory link/ratio.
