AMD seems to respond better to tighter timings as opposed to high speed... Intel is the other way around.

Because you and I both run AMD, I will suggest just staying with the 800 and tight timings. Our chips have always performed better and responded well to tighter timings vs higher speeds

That said: the OCZ Blade LV series is amazing, and will likely what I pick up when I go DDR3.

just get some 1066 and overclock to 1200

Very good to know. That's what I was thinking myself.
When I go AM3, it's between OCZ and Mushkin for the memory.
