Default Recommended RAM for me

I wasn´t sure where put this so it ended here

Okay, I´ve been seriously considering upgrading my RAM as you can see from my sig I have 3 x 1024mb Kingston 1066MHz RAM atm. I know they suck. That´s why I´m upgrading. I just wanted to know what you "pros" suggest for a RAM for me. I also would like to know that does it affect my computer speed if I have two different type of ram on my computer? As an example.. 1024mb 1066MHz and 2048mb 1333MHz. Would the 1066MHz memory keep my computer a little slower?

I maybe asking stupid questions, but I dunno and that´s why I´m asking

DDR3 like low latencies vs frequency so take these or any other CL7 (or 8) 1600 mhz DDR3 and squeeze the crap out of the timings.

Agreed somewhat I would get CL9 2000Mhz ram and tighten the timmings down to CL7 or so.

Do you have any benches or info on that? I'm not doubting you, I'm just interested.

2000mhz RAM costs a lot and getting it would kinda contradict my point lol. It's not high speed you want, rather the tightest timings and the lowest latencies on average speed ram.

I can't quite find the benches but here's something.
What sucks about that is that it's PURELY a synthetic benchmark. In realworld performance, I'd be shocked if you saw a difference between DDR2 1066 CL5 and DDR3 2000 CL8
