Default ram stability need help

hey people, just built myself a new computer. trying to get the ram to run at 1600 but crashes galore. runs fine at 1333. the model for the ram is ocz3g16002g. i have all the timings and voltages matched up to the manufacturer suggestions. it's slightly more stable if i change it to ganged mode but crashes pretty shortly there after. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Try testing just one stick. Also up the voltage a tick or two and then test.

Does it happen with both sticks? Maybe 1 is bad. If the ram isn't working at the settings that it's supposed to then you should RMA

i agree if they dont work at spec settings its time for rma. but try each stick individually first could be some setting your missing or soemthing ur just overlooking.

1.95 is still low for ram. my ram is specd at 2.2 but runs at 2.1. but again if the sticks dont run at the specs printed on them then they should be rmad

DDR2 & DDR3 have different specs. Even 1.95 is a stretch for DDR3. I had exactly the same OCZ RAM set and couldn't manage 1600 with my 3.8ghz overclock for 955 x4 so I bought AMD edition and TA-TA!
