Default Need Help - Random Freezes/Can't get running at 1066

I posted on the OCZ forums about this already but seems on the weekends they're off, so I decided to post here to see if I could get a bit of a faster answer... Just in-case the issue I'm having is actually related to something other then RAM I can fix it in a faster manner and get back to work on my comp.

Also, When I originally had my *Old* Power supply blow up on me some one had actually alerted me of it being bad on here before it happened and I didn't get to see such until it actually did happen, they were able to tell because I was posting some info(mostly voltage/power based) about my Phenom II 940 trying to figure out if I had the correct voltages/etc set which is why I decided to come back here for help with another issue.

---------
System Specs
Code:
CPU maker:	amd
CPU:	AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 940 Processor(swapped with triple core)
Motherboard:	ASUS M4A79 Deluxe
Bios:	MegaTrends 1202 (Updating to latest as making this post)
GPU maker:	ati
Graphics Card:	Radeon HD 4890 1GB (x2 - CrossFire) - (Removed one card)
Memory:	8GB OCZ DDR2 ( Removed 2 sticks so I now have 4GB)
Hard Drive:	1.5TB Western Digital 3.0gb/s SATA
Power Supply:	Antec 1000W True Power Quattro
Bios Settings
Anything in my bios besides express gate settings or other random things are set to default/auto.

Problem
Well recently I ran into a a lot of issues which seemed to be hardware related,

After running a memory test with a copy of memtest86(I don't really understand the results but it reported that a few memory modules had "errors"), I had 4x2GB in my system of this same ram Fatal1ty(OCZ2F10662G).

I took out two sticks after reading around that 8gb's isn't really needed and that it could/would actually just simply slow my system down... Not to mention the fact it would only clock at 800mhz from what I've read on here.

To be more explanatory of the actual "issues" I was having,

My system (entirely) would decide to lock up some times for 10 or 20 minutes, some times maybe even longer.

I did some further testing, (Swapped my Phenom II x4 940 with my Phenom x3 Triple core to see if maybe my processor was damaged and produced the same results)... After such was when I actually ran a memtest once this was done as I previously stated I removed two of the sticks of RAM.

And am currently operating on 2x2GB of this same ram, the next thing I did was switched to an alternative OS(From Windows XP x64 to Windows Vista Ultimate x64).

The results now are not exactly the same but all the applications I run seem to get a lot of "Hard Faults" aka "Page Faults" at very high volume along with my system still lagging.

Not to mention I don't think my RAM/settings on my mother board are even configured correctly because I'm still only getting clocks at 800mhz with only two modules.

--------
My Previous Experiences With Hardware Issues/This System:

Previous to this point I had my last power supply blow up on me(not literally but nearly), the voltages were screwy and it poofed on me and took my mother board out with it...

I had this same exact mother board and haven't had any problems since I got a new one of the same model (other then this freezing problem), so this could also be my issue is my new motherboard being bad or there could have been damage caused to the RAM it's self when this occurred.(I'm hoping not all 4 RAM sticks were damaged if any at all).
---------

End/Fin:
I'm fairly new when it comes to setting hardware up and up for any recommendations on settings I should apply change or etc, any settings which aren't shown in the below screen shots just request them and I will gladly provide them.

At this point I am almost 85%+ certain that my issue has to do with my RAM whether it be a problem with the motherboard having issues referencing/working with it, or the RAM it's self, however any help for you guys is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance for your assistance.

If you guys feel that this kind of an issue shouldn't have been posted here, I'm sorry for that but would also still like to know if the settings for my current hardware seem to be correct... I'd also like to know how to get my RAM to clock at 1066.

The DDR2 IMC (Intergrated Memory Controller) limits you to a garunteed stability of DDR2 1066 with 2 sticks rated at 1066mhz+ or 4 at DDR2 800mhz with sticks rated at 800mhz+

Short and sweet, with 4 sticks you'll have to cut back to DDR2 800 speeds, and then use your HT clock to overclock your RAM to DDR2 1066 speed.

If you read the full post I had stated I removed 2 sticks from my board, which is why I'm trying to get my ram to clock at 1066mhz now instead of 800.

I already knew about the 4 memory modules/800mhz (limitation - in a way...).

I'm more of seeking help in what I'd have to do (settings wise) in order to get my ram to clock at 1066mhz properly without causing problems.

Is this your set? - OCZ2F10662GK

Have you upped the voltage to 2.1v, set the timings for 5-5-5-15 and left the rest to auto?

I've updated my voltages and set my timings, I've also just recently figured out one of my sticks were bad... By doing some testing with memtest86+ and testing a single stick(the bad one) with other ones it would cause errors every time.

Now that I've figured that part out...

I'm still having trouble getting my RAM clocking at 1066mhz, (I've also put back in my quad).

But all my timings are set to what I was told by Roy @ OCZ.

Update:
After playing with my bios settings a bit more I was able to reach above 1066, Which I'm trying to determine if it is a bad or a good thing...

It's just slightly above so I'd assume it's not really a problem.

After trying to setup 5-5-5-15, I'd get an overclock failure so I set to the suggested settings I was given 6-7-7-20.

After doing so my system runs stable and successfully passed 5 times on memtest86+(I left it running while I watched a few movies so it ran the test a few times...).

However, It seems I'm unable to pass a prime95 test which tends to worry me and I'm wondering if anyone could give me assistance in resolving this.

Prime 95 Test Error
