I am asking before I even try to overclock them so I don't waste my time... I just bout 2 2gb sticks from microcenter in a 4gb kit and I have them running at their rated speed of 1066mhz in my sig rig, but I would like to do a little overclocking and wondered if anyone else is using them and having any luck?
The reason i bought them is because they are way shorter and my true cleares them with ease... The Dominators are soooo dang tall, and I can't even use my first 2 ram slots, and one of them is one of my dual channel slots.

BTW, the stock timings on them are 5-5-6-6-18 @ 1066mhz

Can you give us an exact model number or product link? Otherwise it could be any OCZ gold kit
![]() Could this be the kit that is the LV kit? Or are those the platinums? I forget

I would try first updating your motherboard BIOS if you haven't already. AM2+ motherboards have always had trouble attaining 1066 for some chips... I know my mobo from ASUS has 3 BIOS updates with "Enhancing Stability when using 1066 RAM" in the description!
