I've been using 4GB of Mushkin Ascent 1066 memory for almost a year now. 5-5-5-15 2T -- 2.06v
No problems at all. I just ordered another 4GB (2x2gb) of the exact same memory. I threw them in today and after running Prime95 for about 2 minutes, I got a BSOD. BAD_POOL_HEADER. Which is almost always a hardware issue. So I pulled the new memory and ran P95 with my original setup for about 20 minutes just to check.. no problems. So I'm thinking bad memory. I ran memtest86+ and the new memory checks out fine. I then ran that memory stand alone with p95 and got another BSOD. This time, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXEMPTION. No clue what that is. So is that a sign of shatty memory even though it passed memtest? Somethings amiss to have it blue screening all over the place.

I don't understand your post 100%. Does the new kit function properly with just the two sticks from that kit in?
__________________4 banks of 1066mhz is almost always a no go on any AMD setup. Please refer to this for some more information. You will probably have to downclock to 800mhz and tighten the timings, and then possibly raise NB speed. That might even be faster than running 1066mhz anyway

I say RMA both sets just in case, but if you don't have even a simple backup stick that'd be pretty hard.
Could also have something to do w/ using all 4 slots, causing extra stress on the IMC, and thus instability.

It doesn't make sense that it could pass memtest but fail p95 if you have everything the same as before. Are the sticks in the same two slots as the previous ones? Maybe if they are in different slots it is causing a problem. If not, try giving both the NB and NB-CPU voltage small bumps, as that can sometimes improve stability in a blend test. Really, if the memory passes memtest for a few passes there is no reason to RMA it

I put all four sticks back in and rolled it back to 800. So far about 15 minutes into P95 and no BSOD yet. I just wanted to make sure because I really haven't run into bad memory before that had passed memtest. I guess the next question would be, should I just ditch the extra 4 gigs if I want to try for a decent OC? Never having used all four banks before, I never though to look see if it was an issue. Don't want it to be a hindrance.

Reps+ for all..
Thanks guys. I guess I'm going to have to just tweak with it a bit. See what happens.

I'm going to end up RMAing the memory.
I used the new 2X2gb memory (in the same banks as I've always used with my current mem) to run P95 last night and it blue screened after about an hour. Stock settings. I put my year old memory in at the same settings and P95 Blend ran all day (over 10 hours so far). This new memory for some reason cannot run P95 Blend at its stock and recommended settings. Exact same brand, speed, model, etc to what I've been running so there's clearly an issue.
