Well, I just tried everything I could think of after switching RAM slots, and its just not working. I got it to boot into windows once, but it bsod after a few mins. Then it wouldn't even read the disk right, said I was missing a file. So I switched back, and its perfectly fine again at 260Mhz, 2.6Ghz. I just decided to bend the hsf fins to keep it clear from the memory. That was my compromise. Thanks for the help, I think my mobo is just fubar a little bit, but I'm ok with it how it is now. Do you guys think I should adjust all my RAM timings to auto besides the 3-3-2-8? I don't know how to set the other timings, and based on that article on the Infineon CE-6 Shadow linked me, those timings don't work. I'm running exactly what you see int he A64tweaker screenshot in the original post. That is Prime95 stable, and intense 3D stable...

If the Auto sub-timings are working fine with the orange slots, why mess with them? Like I said before the NF4 dfi's are 'special'(finicky), and your board in particular was made with high voltage ddr in mind.

Well, Im having random issues here and there, and I just don't understand. Like my thread over in nVidia section on my gtx 260. All the sudden now, intense 3D isn't stable, on stock GPU, and I don't know what I can do to test what is actually causing my problems. The game isn't crashing bsod, like its RAM related, its crashing like a driver prob, but I've re-install drivers, DirectX, even ran Furmark to stability test GPU, and it can go all day. The rig is also Prime95 stable, so I don't get it. PCI-e is 100Mhz, so its not that. I just don't understand what my rig's problem is. I got one bad setting somewhere, and its just not standing out. Thanks so far.

The only game I got right now to mess with is the Crysis demo. MY WoW accoutn is down right now, and my Far Cry 2 key wont work, so Im kind of stuck. BUT, its a real good game to test the GPU. I just reverted the RAM to DDR400 at 3-3-2-8, and it crashed too, I am currently trying 3-3-3-8, but doubt it will help. Ive re-installed Crysis just in case,a nd reverted to an older nVidia driver that used to run real well on my system, 182.50. Im about to just give up...

Well, IDK why, BUT, everything seems fine. I just beat the Crysis demo without crashing, all because I changed the 2 to 3 in my timings. So, 3-3-3-8 is running stable... Ugh. I guess GPU isn't messed up. I hate computers, lol

WELL, I think I ACTUALLY got it this time... I looke dinto the TREF... it was set to auto which was 200, 3.9uf... I redid RAM timinsg for 3-3-2-8, and adjusted for 3120 (200, 15.9uf), and its doing real good. I feel like Ive ran that before, and it wasn't stable, BUT, I just played the entire demo again, and it was blazingly smooth. Might have gotten it this time,
