DDR2 Phase out
So how much longer do you guys think it will be for DDR2 to be completely Phased out and as old and Expensive as DDR1?
I started noticing how much more expensive DDR2 has been getting on newegg.. I used to be able to get a decent 4X2GB kit for just under 50 Bucks. Lucky if i find one under 70 now  What's your input guys?

Yeah I noticed the prices going up as well.. But on the other hand, DDR3 prices seem to be going down a bit
I think it will be another year, maybe 2, when DDR3 will be actually cheaper than DDR2.

It has been fast from DDR2>DDR3 imo..
Wasnt it a longer time from DDR1 to DDR2 ??

I paid $59AUD for 2x1Gb Kits of my sig ram no less than 2 months ago, the same stuff at the same store is now almost twice the price at $99AUD. I give it another year or so before DDR3 is the standard.

Darn OEMs Eatinz mah ddr2 =\
Oh well good thing i went AM3, i want to get a new board when the 8 Series Chip set comes out, and some ddr3 to match it
