are the Buffalo Fire StiX any good?

my friend just got 2x2GB 1066MHz DDR2 and he has to RMA them as i is dodgy.

has any one had any experiance with these?

The FireStix line is really good actually, but just like any RAM company. RAM will always go bad.

I know someone who used to have a set of DDR2-800 Firestix, I swear he had to RMA those at least four times before he got back a set that weren't flaky.

I remember at one point they were using batches of RAM that Crucial was using. Which failed about 100% of the time.

I had firestix for my first am2 build, they were expensive, but they were good stix.
I think i got them to 920mhz w/o overvolting them and at their stock timings. I had to rma 1 stick, weird how they didn't want to do the kit though.
