Like the title says, i just bought some OCZ platinums 2x2gb 1066mhz and it says 5-5-5 2.2v on them and was wondering what the best settings would be for them.

For some reason, I can't raise my FSB very much because it almost instantly bluescreens when i get into windows, and it don't seem like it matters what my ram settings are, it just blue screens if it raise it more than 204 and isn't stable. My system is rock solid at 3.7ghz, i just can't seem to go any further than that stable.

platinum's are ocz low end ram...
they will overclock but not by much if at all

platinum's are the same a blades pretty much, they are excellent.#

to the op. drop down you cpu multi a touch to say 17 or 17.5
then raise your fsb. this should give you a good increase in both nb and ht speeds but also you ram speeds

I think you are referring to the LV kit that run at 1.8v these run at 2.2v which is pretty dam high.

I have those. FWIW - after spending much time in the OCZ forums, I found out that these use the same ICs as the Reapers. Don't expect much as they are basically overclocked 800s, hence the high azz voltage.

me to ! Hope they turn out good... So if i understand correctly, the more you overclock your cpu, the more you need to overclock the ram ?

I am not having any luck what so ever... My previously VERY stable 3.7ghz overclock is getting error after error on the cores checking it with OCCT, and none of them are even getting over 50*C before they error... It has to be something with this ram, maybe i am not settng it right or something, but i don't know how other to set it... I am setting it 1066mhz cas (5) 5-5-5-15 I have also tried cas (5) 5-5-5-18.

Here is my current settings that aren't working, any suggestions?:
