Okay I'm still new to this and I did a quick search but couldn't find an answer.

just curious do you happen to have each ram stick in the same color coded slots? ie both of them each in an orange or black slot, not one in orange and not one in black? i'm going to assume so since the first 2 slots are both orange and cpu-z recognizes each stick in slot 1 and 2
also double check your manual to look for the corresponding dimms for dual channel

Check your BIOS, see if it's set to ganged or unganged.
