Okay. Now to the meat of it. What is it lagging at, exactly? With nice CPU and GPU like you have, you shouldn't see much lag in games. Just on cursory examination, I am going to point at your RAM. Ditch it and order a nice 4GB set of some 1066MHz RAM with 5-5-5-15 timings.

That is a completely waste of money. The speed is not going to be noticeable and the OP will benefit little from it. Especially the RAM prices are so high right now...

Holy God! I had no idea that DDR2 prices had gone up so much. Sorry. But I am not sure it's a complete waste of money. If he is using value RAM with bad timings, then some decent RAM might help him some.

So in what way is it lagging then?

I just bought some of that ram, (4x1gb 1066) and have posted another topic asking for help I hate being so helpless.

Not only for AMD but for all systems. I use Intel exclusively and have never had CPU-z report the actual clock.

Well now it does not lagg because I have the new ram which is not "value" ram and I have a extra gig. But before things like games were studdering and multitasking was a female dog.
