i think he's referring to the heatspreader of the RAM touching the CPU heatsink

If it is touching but you get a full seat on your CPU, your fine. But make sure that it is not push on your RAM. If it is and your ram is tilted then you can have some issues....

I think he means his ram heatspreaders are touching his CPU heat sink.
No it shouldn't as long as your ram isn't at some crazy angle. Otherwise some of the contacts could not be touching

no what i mean is i have a dark knight cpu heat sink and i put 3 ram sticks in the dominator from corsair the ram heatpreader is touching my cpu heat sink

i see, well yeah its not bending at some crazy angle, the cpu heat sink just kinda pushes the heat spreader in the middle a LITTLE
