yes!
~ with one caveat, it's sort of counterituitive- For most MoBo's you have to match the total size of memory per channel! NOT put the same sticks in the same slots like you would think you'd do if you were merely "adding" the additional RAM. Say... You already have 2x 2GB sticks in your A channel... You'd assume you just add 2x 1GB sticks in your B channel... WRONG It's actually a 2GB and a 1GB stick in channel A; then the same for Channel B! As I stated, that is for most MoBo's- If all else fails... RTFM  GL Cheers

no they dont have to be the same brand and latency. I used to run ocz reapers and dominators together just fine, the corsairs were 5-5-5-15 and the reapers were 5-5-5-18 and there wasn't a difference, both worked fine at 5-5-5-15
