Is it a single 2GB stick? And you tried it seperate from your old modules?
You have to check if the voltage and timings are correct. Once the set is properly running at stock specifications it should work. If it still doesn't boot up with stock specs, it's a DOA.

Is your ram voltage set at 2.1v in the BIOS?

Yes that is why you should put in the old stick, set the voltage to 2.1v and timings to what they are supposed to be. Then turn off PC, put the OCZ mem back in and boot up.

What is your old ram rated at? What did you have the voltage set at before?

Reset CMOS. When putting in new components always reset CMOS. Save your overclock settings somewhere then reset CMOS.

![]() Yes, your old modules will be fine at 2.1v for that short amount of time. You have to remember they are under little to no load in the BIOS.
