I'm looking for some advice/info on RAM. My likely setup will be the following:
Athlon II X3 435 or Phenom II X3 720 GA-MA770T-UD3P - 4 x 1.5Volts DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory - Dual channel memory architecture - Support for DDR3 1666(OC)/1333/1066 MHz memory modules - Support ECC memory OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 Platinum AMD Edition 2x2GB Kit - 1333MHz DDR3 - CL 7-7-7-20 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS) - Available in 4GB dual channel kits - Unbuffered - Platinum Z3 XTC Heatspreader - AMD AM3 DDR3 Platforms Only - Lifetime Warranty - 1.65Volts - 240 Pin DIMM I will be overclocking the CPU so am looking for some good RAM that will work well with overclocking. I'm not necessarily looking for RAM that overclocks well, just RAM that works well with an overclocked CPU (or do these two go hand-in-hand?). So would this RAM make a good kit? I'd also like some more info on the Voltage. The motherboard says 1.5V and the RAM says 1.65V. Can I just up the Voltage to the RAM to 1.65V in the BIOS (assume no overclocking at this point) and all will be well? I'm not looking for high-end RAM, just a decent kit that works well with overclocking. Other suggestions are welcomed. Keep in mind though that I'll likely be using a Scythe Mugen 2 as a CPU cooler so RAM with tall heatspreaders will be non-compatible. Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Usually the thing that stops some people from achieving high overclocks is their RAM because it cant cope with higher speeds

Well, I'm not looking for a high overclock really, though I wouldn't mind if I was able to get one. This will be my first overclocking experience so I'm not expecting to get a 4.0Ghz+ overclock. I'd be really happy if I could get 3.6Ghz stable.
So will this RAM likely limit me in getting a decent overclock?

if i were you i would try to find some 1333 cas 7 1.9v ram, as the 1.65v chips were made specifically for i7, i can get my set down to 1333 cas 5 at 2.0v

Thanks for the info Acoma_Andy! It's always good to hear from someone else you've made a good choice
.While your RAM and it's numbers look awesome bringonblink, I doubt I'll be trying to push mine that much. I'm just looking for something that won't limit my CPU overclocking. Also, the RAM I'm looking at is meant for AMD AM3 DDR3 platforms only, at least according to OCZ .
