Default My memory running at the wrong speeds.

Sup people.

My memory is suppose to be 800Mhz and 4-4-4-15.

They are currently running at 440Mhz at 5-5-5-18.

Whenever I set them to the correct settings, my computer won't post until I reset the settings. This is really frustrating because I believe it's lowering my frame rates.

Where are you seeing your memory speed and timings? In the BIOS or in CPUz or somewhere else? If you are using DDR2 and you are seeing 442MHz in something like CPUz, then your memory is running at 884MHz. CPUz only shows the single data rate, you have to multiply it by 2 for DDR2.

Oh ok thanks. But what about the 5-5-5-18?

where you've got your memory overclocked its loosening the timings

manually set the timings and bump the volts by 0.1 or 0.2 and see if it'll boot

Higher clocks mean ligher timings. Because the memory has been OC's (I suspect it was when you did your processor because you have them linked), the timings were automatically raised, as the RAM can't operate at that low of timings and high of a speed.
