Default What is my RAM running at???

I currently have a Phenom x4 9150e
CPU freq: 266
Multiplier: 8
Voltage: 1.125

I have DDR-2(1066) ram installed
My NB frequency is 266 and the multiplier is 8, in the BIOS I have my memory selection set to DDR-2 1066. My question is what speed is my ram actually running at. Some charts i have looked at tell me that It should be at 266x8=2128/5= 425.6x2= DDR2- (851.2) I figured this according to the sticky post ddr2 chart.

Then CPU-z tells my my dram frequency is 266 and my ration is 1:1, so wouldn't that mean my ram is running at DDR2-533??? Any help or explanation would be great?

At 1:1, your RAM is running at 2 x FSB. Therefore, I'd say your RAM is only running about 533MHz like it says. Is your CPU @ 2.12GHz?

yep my cpu is at 2.12 ghz, my bios doesn't have any options for changing the ratio all it has is different RAM settings that I can put it at for different speeds of ddr2. I would like to get some more speed out of my ram.

Agreed.

OP, fill out your specs so you can get more detailed responses.

I messed around with it a little bit more tonight. I uploaded to newest version of the bios and ran everything on the default settings. CPU-Z has my processor at the stock 1.8ghz (9x200) and my ram speed was at 400(DDR2-800). I tried to bring my fsb up to 235 with a multiplier of 9, but then the bios switch my cpu/dram ration to 3:4 with a dram frequency of a little over 300. I then put everything back to defaults and will mess with it more tommarrow. My goal is to have the cpu floating around 2.1ghz with my memory at ddr2-800 or higher.

It should give you choices to set your RAM speed a lot higher than just 400MHz. Some boards and CPU-Z will say DDR2-800 even though you actually have DDR2-1066 installed, so don't worry about that. You probably want the ratio to be 2:1 so your RAM is running at 4 x FSB to get 4 x 266 = ~1066MHz.
You may have to add some voltage to the RAM to get this stable though. A 1:1 ratio is generally considered to be the most stable ratio.
