Corsair Dominators - Overclock.net

Hello,

I own the Corsair Dominator Dual Channel 4096MB PC8500 DDR2 1066MHz Memory (2 x 2048MB). However this memory isn't running at 1066 MHz on my computer, its running at only 800 MHz. My motherboard is an ASUS M3N78-PRO. I tried increasing voltages, i get the blue screen of death ( BSOD ).
Anyone have a solution to my problem?

Are you running an overclock?

Have you set the Divider, Voltage & Timings properly?

Checked for an Updated BIOS?

Nothing is overclocked in my system.

I dont know if i set the divider, voltage or the timings properly.

I just updated my bios today.

After doing some research, I found out this board does not allow you to set your memory timings. Which is a bit disappointing.

Sorry, I can't help much. Not much I could do, did flashing your BIOS enable it?

You need to set the Divider in your BIOS to 533 (or 1066 if it's highest option is 1066.)

And then your timings to 5-5-5-15-2T and your voltage to 2.1v

Tator, My motherboard doesnt have settings to toggle the timings, so theres nothing much i can do.

Yea, I feel your pain Sayobal. Surprising that memory timing adjustment should always be included in the options of every motherboard. But surprising this is one of the few.
