Hi,
__________________does anyone now if its possible to have 2x 1GB (dual channel) running at 800 and 2x 2GB running (dual channel) at 1066? My mobo doesnt support the 2X 1GB Kingston Hyper 1066. so its running at 800. But now I ordered 2x 2GB kingston HyperX 1066 and I want to add them to have a total of 6GB... Yes, they should work. Remember to make sure they are in dual channel.
In this order so you don't mess up. 1GB Stick - 2GB Stick - 1GB Stick - 2GB Stick

You can only run memories at the same speed :
__________________Ex: You could have 8GB of memory 4GB could be 800Mhz and other 4GB 1066 - the whole memory will run at the lowest Mhz - these are the 800. It doesn't mather whether you have 4,6 or 8 GB of ram - it mathers are they at the same speed and Mhz. In your case if you keep the 2GB at 800 Mhz the other 4GB will run at 800 Mhz too, no mather they are at 1066 Mhz. My advice - remove the 2GB with the 800 Mhz and install only the 1066.
