I'm looking to upgrade my HTPC to a 785G mobo which uses DDR3. I just need 2GB so a single DIMM or 2x1GB is fine. .
ZZF has a 2GB DIMM of Corsair VS2GB1333D3 (1333MHz, 1.5v) for $45 shipped. However, does it have a heatspreader or just a big sticker? (Yes, I can buy heatspreaders for $3 but I still would like to know.) ![]() Anything cheaper than this? While price being the most important factor, I don't want 1.8v+ modules either.

If my eyes serve me correctly, that is a sticker. What you might try is to carefully pull off the sticker, put on heatspreader and apply sticker to heatspreader

Naw, I can just mount a heatspreader on top of the sticker. Conductivity won't be as good but it is just to reduce thermal shock.
