Default Is it on 800Mhz?

I tried to make sure my ram is on 800MHZ with 4-4-4-12 as the specs says. But I am a bit puzzled.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145177

Am I forgetting to set something in the BIOS?

The DRAM Frequency shows it as half of what it is really running at. So the memory is running at around 720mhz.

Memorize this chart. It's the dividers for AM2 based systems.

http://www.overclock.net/amd-memory/...-dividers.html

check it out. AMD uses ram dividers as opposed to ratios for intel. you have 2 choices, overclock ur FSB to reach your spec speed or you lower the divider. Since you have a 5600+ ill say you will need to put ur fsb at 221 which would overclock you to 3.2ghz. OR you can lower your multi to 14x and run your cpu at 2.8ghz and get to ur ram specs. Either way will give you wut you want, i would simply go with the former :P

Cheers,

I laughed so hard at the imaginary serious tone of that sentence. Do you really expect an enthusiast OC'er to memorize that?
