MSI K9A2 Platinum Clocking 4 1GB 1066 Corsair DIMMs - Overclock.net

Before I get into anything let me tell you my specs:

Motherboard: MSI K9A2 Platinum (MS-7376) (2 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 4 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Dual Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394)

CPU: QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 920, 2800 MHz (14 x 200)

4 DIMMs: Corsair Dominator CM2X1024-8500C5D 1 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-18 @ 400 MHz) (4-4-4-13 @ 270 MHz)

Ok, I am pretty sure thats all you need to know.

Anyway I was wondering what I need to do to get these modules clocked to 1066. I have spent a few hours of the time I have away from work to look into this and still have not found the right timings. I am currently clocked at 5, 7, 7, 25, CR2 and Everest is telling me my frequency is at 533.4 MHz. Is this sounding right? and if so, how far is it to safely tighten the numbers up? Again, I am new to this so be patient. I admit I am a n00b to this.

Is there someone out there who has the same motherboard and DIMMs that maybe can help me out?

Any help would be much obliged.

Well, long story short.

The DDR2 IMC's of Phenom's have issues running 4 sticks at 1066mhz, and are usually only good for 2 sticks running at 1066. Some rare cases people have been able to do 4 sticks.

I understand this. I guess what I'm asking is what frequency should each DIMM be clocked at for them to be running a solid 1066? Each DIMM is clocked at 533.4 MHz now.

Well that would get you 1066mhz speed.

But your best option is to try them at 800mhz with a low cas rating.

Now it wont even boot into BIOS. How do I hard reset my BIOS?
