Default PC 4000 problem

ok so i finally got my computer up and running after a lengthy RMA process with Asus (bastards sent it back to me twice saying it was ok when it was defective)

now that i actually have time to test everything really well ive come into problems with my ram

i know my cpu runs stable w/ 250 x11

the memory however does not run stable @ 250

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146397

when i put a single stick in it runs stable @ 250 (each one by itself) but as soon as i throw both in, my computer loses it

any ideas? im pretty annoyed at this point with all the trouble this build has given me

Loosen up the timmings a little and try and boot. I belive read somewhere that those sticks of ram can be a bit hit and miss . But try upping the voltage a bit as well might help

have you tried to run memtest? you should run that and see if your RAM passes that individually and then together.

if you can run 32m super pi and prime for a few hours I'd say its fairly stable, also try OCCT, BTW what does it crash on?
