Default should i upgrade my memory for my new setup?

ok guys, i just got my new processor and board(X2 4400+ and ASUS A8R32mvp DELUXE crossfire) im also doing one or 2 x1900xtx and a custom liquid cooling setup.. currently i own 4 sticks of this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820141152
now would it be beneficial for me to upgrade to a higher quality memory maybe 2x1gb of low latency.. or will i really not notice a difference for overclocking?

I just made a very similiar post this morning that may answer your questions.

Hopefully this link will take you to that posting:

Yes, Better Memory really helps your overclock. I would recommend getting some high quality BH-5 Chips.

Yes the Lower Latency Ram will improve your overclock but with lower Latencies sometimes can cause instability but not to worry as you can loosen the latency.

From what I've read, and from my previous post. That set of G.skill is really nice. As far as DDR500 that is technically what the Ram is rated for with it's said timings etc. Which means that the Ram is good for clock speeds all the way up to 250mhz (DDR500). Start off having it clocked at DDR400 and move up the clock on the Ram with whatever your doing for an overclock. It should be 100% up to DDR500 (and beyond from what I've read <290+>) The boards just use a DDR400 standard from what I've seen, but will handle more.

That is very good stuff.
It should do 560 and possibly as high as 570. Lately 560ish.
Gatt, where have you seen it running that high? I'm not contesting your statement in any way, simply because the RAM of months ago OCed so much better. Lately they and most other stuff just don't seem to get that high anymore.

I may be mistaken, It could have been 2x512 sticks rather then 2x1024 sticks. I can't remember off the top of my head. Then again it could have been an old article or different Ram all together, but Im pretty sure it was something that G.skill produced. If Im wrong Im wrong, and my apologizes, I've got no proof of whether it will clock to that or not. Although it was recent when I looked at it, I spend a moderate amount of time on my work pc researching vs. gaming like I do on my home pc so it would be in the history of that one. I'll check tomorrow when I go back if I get a free 30-60 minutes. Nothing to go on here at home though.

Gatt... it's cool. Months ago that RAM as most would run higher speeds.
Heck... a few months back GEIL had CAS1.4 TCCD that did over 600 but that was then and now I as I am sure many wish they had bought the Kick Butt stuff then
