I was reading that the RealTek audio onboard controllers are not actually running EAX and just claim to be (not known if it was a bug or false claims).

A) Is this true
B) Should I buy a PCI sound card to replace this or?

Is EAX avaliable to you in the RealTek options or whatever?

Buying a good PCI Sound card is almost allways better than onboard, plus it takes load off the CPU

Haha.... yah settings do feature EAX. and now that I'm looking at my settings I found a freakin wierd problem will start a new thread tho =0 Thanks,
