Exclamation EVGA NF47 Motherboard LED error 25...HELP!

Hey there, I just received in the mail my new EVGA NF47 SLI x16 motherboard, and a new EVGA GeForce 7900GS KO from NewEgg today, and installed the parts, but can't get the BIOS to post. The debug LED on my motherboard stops at 25, and I looked in the manual to see what error 25 is, but the manual does not list it. I'm using two sticks of Kingston 400Mhz Dual channel 512MB sticks of RAM, a 10 gig HDD I run windows on, and 120 gig HDD I install programs and games on. I also have a DVD burner (NEC), and a GearMax 450w PSU rated at 16Amps on the +12 volt rail. I'm wondering if the PSU isn't powerful enough, but I can't find error 25 anywhere on EVGA's site, or other forums. Please help! I was using an AGP motherboard (GigaByete's K8N-SC-939), and a PNY Geforce 6200 128MB AGP card. I really want to get this new card and MoBo up and going, any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I know this seems obvious, but have you ran this absolutly bare (no usb headers, no hdds, no dvdroms, all except a video card and motherbaord and ram (use 1 stick))

Keep adding stuff until it stops working...

Smile More Info

I'm at work right now, luckily enough they don't mind me using the computer here to do things like this. However, i haven't been able to try booting it up bare, as I just received the parts an hour before I left for work. I'll try that first thing when I come home. In about 7 hours, lol...

Unhappy EVGA 680i error 25

I just read in some old archived forums, an EVGA 680i user received error 25 when trying to post his board for the first time, and no one could find what the error code meant, and word was from tech support that he had to RMA the board. Hopefully that is not the case with the NF47, i would be very dissapointed if I couldn't get my rig going tonight...I've been waiting for a new Mobo and GPU for over 4 months!!

Default Video Card Error

Well, I tried a bare boot, just the CPU, MoBo, PSU and Graphics card with 1 stick of RAM, and still error 25. I called EVGA Tech Support, and they said that errors 25 and 26 were for video card errors. Tomarrow I am going to use my PCI Geforce FX 5500 to see if I can get the MoBo to post, and also try my new GeForce 7900GS KO in his comp to see if the card works. If both products show they are working, then it will definately be my PSU. I know the MoBo says it should have a PSU with a +12 volt rating of 18a or higher, and the video card calls for recommended 22a or higher, so my PSU even though it's a 450w, may be cutting the power short with it's +12v rail having only 16a of power. All will be told in the morning...Thanks for your help, man. I appreciate it. I will post tomarrow the results of my diagnostics.

Arrow Update...

Well, video card is good, and motherboard is DOA. Gave me an error 25 when I put an old FX5500 in there that I knew was working, so that let me know the board was toast. Can't wait to get my new one, the RMA has been in for a couple days. At least I know the graphics card works well, and that I'll have a new board to use next week sometime. Thanks for the help.
