Default K8USA Dragon Ultra

Hey, a quick question... I'm getting good at asking and this site has helped me out considerably, thank you! I have the K8USA Dragon Ultra Black Label (Soyo) motherboard... in the BIOS there is a setting for "computer performance" Right now it's set on normal, but the other options are fast and ultra!!! I have a piece of crap monitor too, and tends to shut off if I use the high graphics options in some games (I'll soon be replacing it, of course) My question is, if I was to set this to Ultra, or even fast what can I expect? Will my monitor blow up, or will my computer quit working? Tell me everything you know and I'll be glad to toss a rep point in there.

Nothing good to say about soyo? lol, oh well... this is the first computer I built, and will probably build another one of these days. I'll keep the soyo name in question, but it's running great so far. And considering my old computer was an old 500MHz AMD K6, I really don't have anything to compare it to.

My best I could take is all that setting does will change the memory timings. If the memory can't run at the higher performance memory timings, the system will probably hang and you'll have to clear the CMOS to get it to work again.

Thanks! I took the chance and set it to ultra, which was actually called "turbo"... the memory timing was changed from 2.5-3-3-8 to 2.5-3-3-6. What do those numbers mean anyway? And I'm guessing it will work on the turbo setting, since nothing shut down, right?
