Default computer broke, wont turn on
i was playing nfsu2 and suddenly my computer just shut off, yes, shut off, no blue screen no thing.. it just went from power on to power off.

then i looked at my power lights, the powerlight was seeming to flash on and off in intervals of 2 seconds or so.

when i unplugged my old power supply, and reconnected it, the motherboard wouldnt respond.

then i dug up a old 250 watter, and i plugged only the atx connector in, the motherboard responded by doing that flashinging light thing again.

im goin to buy a new power supply tomorrow, an xconnect, but if any of you guys know what happened to my comp, speak up!

im still hinting towars i fried my psu

but here could be some other things

fried mobo, fried cpu.

thats all that i can think of.

Well it may not just be the psu, same thing happen to me a while back and it turned out to be my motherboard that died on me but anyhow i hope you get it resolved.

If the motherboard fried, wouldn't all the lights stay dark?

Well that depends i guess when mine died it was like the power just went out but when i looked inside my pc to see what happened my lite on my motherboard was still lite up so i didnt think it was my motherboard so from there i assumed my psu died on me but when i stuck my other psu back in same thing nothing, but the lite on motherboard still lite up, then i was like o ***** my cpu died on me so from there i had to take it to a shop to have it tested which cost me "cough" $150.00 for them to diagnose it and it turned out to be my motherboard.

mine did the same thing try and old cpu first. I'll bet cpu dead.
