Default safe system temps

hi, just got a dfi lanparty nfII ultra-b and was just getting started overclocking and picked up a nb-1c from newegg and i'm getting a reading of like 37 degrees C and was wondering where was a safe region to stay in for system temp. by the way that was taken by hardware monitor that came with my mobo after 4million digits of superpi followed by a couple of rounds of 3dmark2001se. im running 150mhz fsb w/ a multiplier of 13.5 (2025mhz) thanks for your help!

45 is probably safe, but 50 would still be okay.

Don't go above 55C

Edit: You should get motherboard monitor 5 as that is very accurate at reading temps.

i actually tried mbm5 and it totally went crazy, it said it had full support for my mobo and every time i set it up it gave me some can't load driver or somethin goofy like that. i also reinstalled and made sure i was picked the right motherboard and all that jazz so i just gave up on it. also another quick question, i just got my nb-1c today and was installing it and it fits on there diagonally perpindicular to the nb chip itsself, is that normal? i used the only bracket that came with it that fit properly but some of the northbridge is still slightly exposed. i followed the instructions that were on the thermaltake website (which is down right now....) to the T. "
