Default 9.8 Volts on the 12V line.

I'm posting this here because I'm pretty sure this isn't caused by my power supply, as I just installed a new one yesterday and I'm getting the same results.

My 12V line on Sandra always comes up as 9.8V constantly. No fluxuations, no changes, it's always 9.8. I recently shipped out a two year old 350W power supply for a 480W supply and for both it's still the same: 9.8V.

Which leads me to believe the supply is not the problem. Could this be a restriction on the motherboard, or some problem with the motherboard that only allows 9.8 V to get in? Or could this be a problem of the surge protecter or the supply in my apartment?

I'm kind of at a loss here. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

sandra always reports voltages wrong, check your voltages with a multimeter

I don't have a multimeter, nor am I really interested in getting one. I'm not that curious.

Is there another program that might be able to do give me an accurate reading?

The only piece of software that I have that can correctly display the voltages is the ASUS probe utility for ASUS boards. SiSandra, Everest and PC Wizard all show them incorrect.
