I have an oem asus mobo that does not allow overclocking. It is the asus k8v-la made for hp only. I wondered if I could flash a simaler boards bios onto my motherboard so that I can oc. The closest board only has 2 pic slots while mine has 2. Could I flash this bios and only lose the loss of one pci slot? Welcome to ASUS What happens if you flash a bad bios?

I say that your best bet is to get a new mobo/cpu and PSU
