PC won't boot when I change RAM timings
I am running my RAM on auto ddr533. I am stable at 305*9.5 and my RAM runs at 414mhz 4-4-4-11 2t. If I change to manual setting and put my ram at 5-5-5-15, I won't boot. The only thing I can think of is if one of the other settings is changing when I switch to manual that I am not seeing.

Are you sure it is staying at 2T? Also, can you get into the sub-timings?

Yes, everything is on auto except timing. It looks like I can adjust everything. I usually only mess with cas, trcd, trp and tras. I was trying to set 5-5-5-15, 2t so play with the CPU some.

heres pics of the BIOS setting for ram. Every time I try to set them manually, I can't boot. What should I set the other stuff too?

Stock is 2.2v. I am running 2.25. I should be able to run the ram looser at the same volts

Try 2.3v or 2.35. After that your likely to fry it.

Why on earth would you want to loosen your timmings that much. If you want to see how your cpu, itself, clocks, then run a ram divider.
