I decided today to rearrange my drive slots to make room for a 2nd front fan. I pull all my stuff out and when I put in my floppy/media reader, I realize that the cord that connects to the mobo's internal usb plugs was too short. Is there such a thing as an extender for these?

I actually haven't heard of them; i haven't heard of any case where people would need them. You might wanna try rearranging them again.

Actually I'm curious about this too, my media card reader has really short USB connectors and literally I can't manage the cables at all, they have to run straight from the card reader to the USB headers...

Just be careful because these internal cables are not supposed to be longer than a certain length... I wonder how much it was... I think it was 50cm or so.
