I don't get it. The cheaper NF7-S is $10. cheaper but supports 266/333/ and 400 ram! I need to take a closer look.

The integrated video should be fine for everything but gaming I guess, perfect inexpensive choice for a rig for net surfing. A huge savings benefit when you dont have to buy an AGP card.

I'd recommend reading all the reviews and then go to the Abit website forum for additional reading. I love my NF7-S because of the "Soft Menu" in bios.

just found out shared ram goes up to 128 megs does any ram work with that?

yeah. using dual channel PC3200 or better wil significantly improve gaming with onboard graphics too, so getting 512MB+ is a good idea for ok gaming (think UT04 as the onboard limits)

yep i agree i love my ABIT NF7-S v2.0 i would suggest that, just get a cheap GFX card something like a 9250, 9550 or 5200. or even a geforce 4

the mobo will give you a better chance at a good overclock
