Default Albatron KI690-AM2

This is one of the few mITX motherboards made which supports the AM2 processor. I've been able to find 4 or 5 similar models, but this one simply blows the others away. I'll be picking one of these up as soon as the vendor gets back to me, so hopefully I'll have within the week.

The board is decked to the nines.

HDMI, DVI, VGA, Component, and composite video out and an equal number of audio out options as well.

If you also have this motherboard please share your experiences.

I wanted to build a living room PC, and this was the choice I've made for the mobo at the time. Still, it's impossible to find in Europe. A very good choice imo.

When I first heard about that, I drooled over it. It's got the fastest onboard video available on a motherboard of that size. Would work great for a silent HTPC, if I could actually find one.

If anyone is interested in one I can inquire about getting a few. Just a heads up though, the board runs about $250, but if you can't find a distributor around you I would be more than willing to pick one up.

$250!? May have to pass on that one. I can get mATX 690G boards for $60.

I've heard back from the folks at e23inc and they informed me that the board is $230 shipping included! This is a great deal. You must realize, Kramy, that you'll pay a heavy premium for micro-sized electronics.

If I had the choice of spending $230 on this versus $230 on some Via weaksauce. It'd be a no brainer.

It'll be a little while before I grab this up however, as I've just decided to go forward with my Quadcore AMD build. Something might occur to make it a bit sooner!

Lul, I just searched newegg for Little Valley.

Oh yes, I do realize that - and there's no reason my HTPC can't be in a tower.

You're right - good price for something that small - but I have to factor in shipping to Canada, taxes, etc.
