Hey guys, i recently messed up my Abit NF-95 BIOS chip trying to win flash it. Despite all my efforts tonight, i could not reflash it on an older socket a motherboard trying to hot flash it. We used awdflash and uniflash in dos off of a boot disk after swapping out the bios chip, and all we could get was bios unknown. We were using the most current bios version off of the abit website. Can anyone help me? Is there other software i could use? Thanks.

I cant remember how to do it, but there is a dos command to force the flash even though the bios doesnt match the motherboard. I found the info on the DFI-Streets forums. I would also recommend using some dental floss prepositioned behind the bios chips to pull it out after the bios flash. That way you dont have to reach in to pull the chip out and risk shorting/damaging a component.
