About RAID Setup on ECS
hi guys,
for the first time I would like to try raid, in the motherboard bios, it has open on enable only. I like to know, if i need the hdds to be empty for fresh install or i can just enable it as it is right now, I have windows vista in sata1 and back up hdd(wth music and stuff) on sata 2 thanks for answering, I can't relaly find info on that. ppl seen to do fresh install when they do raid tho, thanks

Enabling RAID will erase all data on the drives.

Enabling RAID will force you to reformat/reinstall your drives.
Backup data before doing anything!
